Comedy
A young and successful television actor relocates to New York, where he rents a marvellous, gothic apartment.
With his television career currently in limbo, the actor is offered the opportunity to play Hamlet onstage, but there’s one problem…he hates Hamlet.
His dilemma deepens when he discovers that his apartment, once owned by legendary Shakespearean actor John Barrymore, is still inhabited by Barrymore’s pompous, swashbuckling ghost.
From the wildly funny duel to the quick-witted lines, I Hate Hamlet offers a light, satirical look at greedy real estate agents, inane Hollywood producers and hard-drinking, womanising actors.
