This comedy of love and errors set somewhere between Verona and Jindyworoback has entranced audiences for over twenty years. An entertaining romp which puts an Australian spin on Goldoni’s classic Italian farce. It was translated and adapted from a commedia dell’arte play – I due gemelli veneziani by Carlo Goldoni – and the lyrics were written by Nick Enright, with music composed and arranged by Terence Clarke.
